Sitting on four acres of park-like scenery is Wentzville, Missouri’s newest venue, Echo Creek. The space is an XS-Model Quonset hut building that offers its guests a practical yet beautiful venue. The modern industrial design brings something unique for clients whose goal is for their event to be memorable.

The front-end wall is sprawled with custom windows that boast beautiful views of the greenery. The interior offers 100% usable space making it the ideal venue for weddings and events. There is even an upstairs area, restrooms, and a built-in bar area.

The owners, Rodney and his wife Melissa fell in love with the property right away and decided it would be a great space to hold weddings. When deciding what kind of building to construct, they chose a non-traditional Quonset for many reasons.

“We didn’t want to go with the traditional barn,” Rodney said.  He added, “The Quonset huts were cool, versatile, strong and industrial.”

After a quick internet search, Rodney was led to SteelMaster.
He chose a XS-Model 50’W X 20’H X 59’L building. The building specialists at SteelMaster helped design blueprints specifically engineered for the area.

Rodney and his wife are both full time chiropractors and part time DIY’ers. They built their new chiropractor office and have flipped houses prior to this project.

Once the concrete was poured, Rodney was able to erect the arches himself in only 2 weeks! He then got to work on the end walls. Once the building was complete, he added batten insulation to the interior, making it climate controlled all year round. Altogether, the project took about 18 months to complete.

Overall, he said he had an excellent experience working with SteelMaster.

“Everyone I worked with at SteelMaster was great. They helped me find the building I needed. Matt Littlefield was great about getting back to me. I never had to ask the same question twice,” Rodney said.

Now, Echo Creek is the newest and most unique venue in Wentzville! Whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, family reunion or work event, this venue is the perfect space!
