Meet the SteelMaster Team: Drew Ramage

Drew Ramage has quickly become an integral part of the SteelMaster team in his four years of being a National Sales Representative. Due to his vast knowledge and ability to connect with customers, he was recently promoted to the Senior Elite Team.

Drew has experience selling all applications ranging from garages, homes, car ports, etc. across all fifty states.

Not only does he have a vast knowledge of the product, but he also excels in finding buildings to meet heavy snow load requirements.

“The technical building aspects are interesting; and being able to help a customer who lives in a heavy snow load state is rewarding.” Drew said.

The Idaho mountains make for the perfect backdrop to Timm’s custom storage building.

However, finding a building that would meet his county’s snow load requirement was more challenging than he thought.

“He was having trouble finding a building that would meet snow load requirement, so we found him this one and he permitted it through his county, so it was good to go,” Drew said.

Drew assisted Timm in finding a building that would meet the snow load while also being in his budget.

“Timm had a 215 lb. per square foot snow load requirement.  With Timm being on top of a mountain, we needed to use thicker steel to make it meet the requirements,” Drew explained.

Timm went with a steel back-end wall, while using local materials for the front.

“His project turned out great,” Drew concluded.

Orra G. – North Augusta, South Carolina

Orra called into SteelMaster looking for a dual-purpose building to serve as his woodworking shop and storage.

Drew assisted in finding a building that would meet his needs within his budget.

Upon delivery, Orra and a friend were able to assemble the building together. Additionally, he used his woodworking skills to frame out the front and back-end walls.

He utilized local materials and went with vinyl siding to match the aesthetic of his home. He even framed out the front end-wall to add a custom window to bring in natural light.

Now, his shed makes the perfect addition to his garden.

Seth B. – Cumming, Georgia

S-Model 20’W X 14’H X 36’L

Seth called into SteelMaster searching for a building to utilize as an auto shop. However, finding a building that was tall and wide enough for a car lift presented a challenge.

Drew was able to find him a building that met the clearance and was also in Seth’s budget.

They settled on an S-model, giving Seth the height and width that he was looking for, along with durability.

Seth assembled the arches himself and is planning on hiring a local contractor to frame the end walls.

Now, nestled in his very own backyard among the trees sits an impressive workshop!

Thomas T. – Rio Rancho, New Mexico

S-Model 10’W X 10’H X 12’L

Thomas T called into SteelMaster looking for a storage shed for his backyard.

It was the first building Drew ever sold!

Thomas assembled the building himself, which Drew says is a major benefit to purchasing a Quonset. He said, “If you’re a do it yourselfer, you can get the highest quality prefabricated building on the market for the same price as a vinyl shed. You get a corrugated engineered steel building for 40 years + that’s backed with a warranty.”

Thomas went with a custom end wall and decked it out with the Los Angeles Charger’s logo.
