Thank you for choosing SteelMaster. Because our Quonset kits are engineered to your specific local building codes and site requirements, our refund, return and shipping policies are designed to balance your flexibility while maintaining steel manufacturing standards.

Refund Policy: Industry Standard 3 Day Window

Like all reputable steel building companies, we offer a 100% refund of your initial deposit if a cancellation request is made in writing within 3 days (midnight of the 3rd day) of the signed Purchase Agreement.

  • Process: To cancel, please email Cancel@SteelMasterUSA.com with the name shown on your sales order and “Cancellation Request” in the subject line.
  • Notification of receipt: You will be notified within 3 business days that your return has been accepted and an approximate timeline for the refund.
  • Refund Method: Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 10 business days.

Return Policy: Building Manufacturing Limitations

Because our factory immediately begins production after the 3-day window on your custom building, we cannot accept returns or refund deposits once the 3-day refund/cancellation window has closed; all sales are final as your building is manufactured just for you.

  • Deposits become non-refundable: These funds are immediately utilized by our factory for drafting, site-specific engineering certifications, and the reservation of raw steel coils.
  • Returns cannot be accepted: Steel kits are heavy, precision-manufactured items; the logistics of a return will often exceed the value of the steel, and once unbanded, the structural integrity of the components cannot be guaranteed for resale

Shipping Policy: Damaged Or Missing Components

While we do not accept returns, we stand by our product. It’s exceedingly rare that items show up damaged (due to the resilience of the steel components). Should there be any problems with the product as it arrives, we’re here to make things right.

  • Freight damage: If any components are damaged during transit, please note the damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and contact us at CustomerService@SteelMasterUSA.com or call us directly at 757-422-6800 within 48 hours.
  • Replacements: We will manufacture and ship replacement parts at no cost to you for any items verified as damaged or missing upon delivery.
  • The three-day right of cancellation applies only to new building orders and does not apply to parts orders, replacement components, custom-fabricated materials, or supplemental purchases, all of which are final upon order placement.
