Ryan Allen, Assistant Customer Service Manager

Ryan Allen has been with SteelMaster for twelve years and leads the Customer Service team. His primary responsibilities as the customer service manager include assisting customers with their technical questions on construction and blueprints, selling customers additional arches, end walls, and insulation for existing SteelMaster buildings, and assisting the members on the customer service team. As the primary liaison for past, current and future customers, Ryan says he enjoys helping customers.

“I enjoy helping customers overcome the obstacles they face during the building process and providing additional parts/accessories to clients so they can finish their building just as they imagined.”

Ryan was born in Chesapeake, Virginia, and has been living in Virginia Beach for the past fifteen years. He has an extensive background in sales, customer service, and customer management. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family and spending the weekends at the beach during the summer.

Brendan Robb, Customer Service Representative

Brendan Robb has several years of experience in Sales and Customer Service and has been with SteelMaster for 6 years. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Radford University. Currently, he serves as a parts and insulation sales specialist/customer service representative, assisting customers from all over the world.

Brendan specializes in parts and insulation sales and service, customer service, technical support, vendor relations and logistics, among other things. He enjoys building personal and professional relationships with customers, while helping with their needs for their unique building projects.

Brendan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He spent most of his childhood in Springfield, Virginia before settling in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2013.

Collin Koppert, Customer Service Representative 

Collin has been with SteelMaster for over two years and is an integral member of the Customer Service team. He prides himself on being one of the insulation experts that provides clients with his knowledge and top notch customer service. His various tasks range from technical and design support to pricing and installation guides. Collin says one of his favorite parts about his position is the variety of projects he gets to work on within a small company.

“I enjoy working for a small company that treats us very well. I enjoy working on different projects each day and getting to talk to people from all over the world,” Collin said.

Collin was born in Ohio and spent many years in Colorado before migrating to Virginia Beach.

Tara Hoover, Customer Service Representative

After only about a year of working with SteelMaster, Tara has quickly become an integral part of the Customer Service team. Some of her tasks include helping with requests and needs from all aspects of the company, as well as from 3rd parties. She will help anyone who has questions about their buildings, needs to purchase parts, make payments, etc. Tara says one of the things she enjoys most about her position is the relationships she has with customers and her co-workers.

“I enjoy the camaraderie between coworkers and customers.  It is so much fun coming to work and being to discuss projects, issues, and questions amongst anyone…and having those people give you advice in return. There is ALWAYS someone willing to help. The problem solving extends to everyone.”

Being in a Navy family, Tara moved around the United States before settling in Hampton Roads. Tara received her bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University where she studied Hospitality Management.
