People in Puerto Rico are still working to recover after Hurricane Maria pummeled the area. The category 5 hurricane caused significant damage to the island. One of those affected by this powerful storm was Jose Malave. He is a SteelMaster customer and business owner in Aibonito. He bought a SteelMaster Building 11 years ago. His storage building quickly became a shelter from this horrible storm. “We took refuge from the storm in my building which resisted the punishment of Maria. We did not make any preparation for the building; we only entered all of our belongings and closed the door.” He says the building only suffered minor damages, but that was due to improper installation.
