This is six acres, a landscape of rust and broken mirrors, cars that have seen their better days. This is Moyock Muscle just off highway 168. For those that restore classics this is like something out of a dream, about 400 cars from just about every era are here waiting for a little- or a lot- of TLC. Patrons can take on refurbishments in their own garages or the folks at Moyock Muscle can offer their assistance. “They can buy it like it is or if they want us to restore it they can. We take it to certain levels for them. A lot of people don’t know how to do mechanic work and maybe they know how to do body work or they might take it home and get the car all stripped down and bring it back to us and let us do a couple things to it. We really try to help everybody out.” Nostalgia does seem to sell; Lucky says business has been great as they opened up their main shop about four years ago. The red one does run. It ran when we brought it out there.” And judging by the amount of crusted cars on this enormous lot, Moyock Muscle isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. “We’re in it to let people drive their dream.”
