How cool is this…

This SteelMaster building is part of an important project of the Arecibo Observatory called the Ionospheric Heating Facility.  Six transmitters were installed inside of the building to signal into space.  This facility will expand the observatory’s capabilities as a radio telescope to study the layers of our atmosphere and mainly the Ionosphere.

The Arecibo Observatory, in Puerto Rico, is the worlds largest radio telescope which operates under a cooperative agreement between Cornell University and The National Science Foundation (Federal Government).

At SteelMaster our buildings are created with a future of endless opportunites!
