SteelMaster Hurricane Rated Steel Buildings

With hurricane season in full swing, we are receiving numerous requests for our hurricane-rated buildings.  SteelMaster Buildings received Product Approval from the State of Florida.  The two requirements for product approval are being laboratory-tested for structural wind loads and meeting the standards of an ISO-based production quality assurance program that is audited by an approved third party.  SteelMaster Buildings was granted the approval as we meet  the standards required for the highest wind zone areas in the state of Florida!

Here are some of the many testimonials from our hurricane impacted customers:

Steelmaster hurricane rated steel building

“Our SteelMaster made it through Hurricane Charley with flying colors,” said Scott from Punta Gorda, Florida.  “Our building made it through a category 4 hurricane without even a wrinkle in the panels.  A lighter gauge flat roofed building down the street from ours had a collapsed roof, I would recommend SteelMaster to anyone looking for a building.”

“I had an equipment shed that I put up myself that I thought was very sturdy.  I also have a SteelMaster building.  The reason I say “had” on the equipment shed was because the entire thing got blown away by Hurricane Katrina…..but my SteelMaster building withstood it all without any problems!” – Henry from McLain, Mississippi

Remember, August and September are the peak months of hurricane season in the North Atlantic Basin.  Extra attention should be  placed on protecting personal property during this time of year.  No one can predict the course of a hurricane, however, it pays to be prepared if you happen to lie in the path of a dangerous and destructive tropical storm.  Be sure to protect your valuable property in a SteelMaster!

  • Can you tell me if the 30 by 50 sale building you have on special can be used in my area “Houston”? If not, what would be the cost of a 30 by15 by 50 A-type hurricane-rated building?. What is the required slab measurements needed for the building? I like the painted ends like the one in Kingsbury, Tx. max sky lights staggered, one regular walk in door, two regular single garage doors on one end and one double garage door on the other end. What type and size windows do you offer? and pricing. Thanks, Mark Mitchell
