    • I helped a friend purchase a quonset hut, I’m not sure if that it is a SteelMaster. We have the paperwork, but no blueprints. How do we obtain blueprints to be submitted to the county. The original owner gave them to an engineer, and he lost them. They cannot build it until they get blueprints. Can you help? Thanks.

    • I’m curious about whether or not a quonset hut could support a living roof? Depending on the gauge of the steel I assume they could bear a load between 80 and 100 lbs per square foot? Essentially I’d like to “bury” one with just the ends exposed. Possible? The county in Nevada where I’d like to build has no building codes, only a septic inspection is needed.

    • I love these style buildings ( Quonset ); I was wondering what type of skylights might be put in one? ..and generally about the construction. I would Like to know what I would be getting myself into when it comes to building one in Georgia ( USA ). More detailed information would be great.
