Portable Steel Building Goes from Pier to Pool
One of the benefits of steel arch buildings is that they have a clear span design allowing them to be used for a variety of applications. The partial quonset hut (shown on the left below) was originally purchased to be used for a gift shop on the pier of the USS Arizona in Hawaii. When the pier began to undergo renovations, the metal building was sold to someone else and disassembled so that it could be moved. The customer who purchased the building re-built it and now uses the arches to protect an outdoor movie screen next to his pool (shown on the right below).

Thank you for this email advertisement. I was looking at one of your garage carport and saw a one side much lower port–or at least thought I did. I would like to send you a picture of my current arrangement and let you see if you could do a lame-sided carport for the RV camper trailer. It has had 1 1/2 inches of ice + snow for about 2 weeks and we want to protect it. Were do I send a picture. I will be away from the computer for a week after today.
