How to “Gauge” the Strength of a SteelMaster

Thousands of customers all over the world have experienced the strength of a SteelMaster. Our structures can withstand some of the harshest conditions including hurricanes, tornadoes, and even fires. But what makes a SteelMaster so strong?

Not only does the eye-catching arch design contribute to the undeniable strength of our buildings, but the 22-gauge steel panels used to build them are what make SteelMaster structures extremely durable.

Steel comes in many gauges. The lower the number, the thicker and stronger the steel.

Straight wall buildings normally are built using thinner steel, normally 29 gauge material. SteelMaster uses 22 gauge for this kind of building, which is a bit thicker.

The 22-gauge panels are made of grade 80 standard steel and they are protected by a Galvalume Plus coating. This coating is a dry, clear, organic resin which does not require painting or maintenance. It also helps to reduce energy costs.

Not only are our buildings some of the toughest in the business, they are also backed by one of the best warranties around. We offer a 50-year, non-prorated manufacturer’s warranty backed by the steel mill.
