Hampton Roads Sanitation District employees may not have the most glamorous job in the world, but thanks to a SteelMaster custom canopy, their lives just got a little easier.

Every hour someone at the treatment facility has to go out to obtain a sample from their main tank to ensure that everything is being processed properly. Since it is a little bit of a hike to get to the tank, the technicians have the option of riding a bike or golf cart. Now that they have their canopy, they can avoid any hazardous weather and easily make it out the tank.

The SteelMaster building application that they chose is actually a custom carport that has no slope to it. It measures 20 feet wide by 50 feet long and was erected in about 21 hours by two men.
