“It started out as a plan to build a large shed to store all the various equipment currently in our two car garage.  As I listened to folks about how their varying sheds eventually became over stuffed… I sought a better solution.  During this research stage, I also identified the need for a workshop, as I’m a DYI’er and using a portable workbench in the driveway had become very old, especially during the winter months in NE.  I contacted a number of companies and even though some were very similar to SteelMaster, they didn’t offer quite as good of a warranty, nor had as impressive a list of customers.  The rest is history… we contacted the town building inspector… contracted a foundation company… and with the help of some family and friends erected the structure and are in the process of framing an inner workshop and this spring finishing the exterior of our self constructed ends.  We’re happy with the structure and it’ll fulfill all the requirements we identified.”
