IMMEDIATE OPENING

SteelMaster Buildings is looking to add to our team of Building Design Specialists. We are a growing organization seeking individuals with a competitive drive and diverse skill sets to help grow our company. Under limited supervision will perform needs assessments and develops building solutions for commercial, industrial and international customers. This person is responsible for all facets of the sales process from cultivation to sale and post purchase customer service with project management when required. Reports directly to the Vice President of Commercial and International Sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing building sales and generating profitable revenue.
• Develops relationships with new and existing customers in-person, through phone conversations and marketing correspondence
• Participates in the planning, formulation of design alternatives, solutions for major construction projects and project management.
• Develops and administers project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions; performs project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate.
• Authorizes the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, and approves contractor invoices for payment.
• Directs work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimize disruption.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge of architectural design and planning principles and procedures. Experience with arch-style buildings and roofing systems a plus!
• Persuasive selling and closing techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contractual agreements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
• Foreign language skills a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary, commission plus annual bonus.
